Health coaching is a supportive, collaborative process that helps you reconnect with your body’s capacity for healing and resilience. Rather than offering rigid plans or one-size-fits-all solutions, I work alongside you to gently explore what your body, mind and nervous system need to feel safe, supported and empowered.

 

My work is especially informed by cancer support, where care must be compassionate, individual and deeply respectful of the body’s pace.

 

Alongside nutrition, lifestyle and mindset guidance, I draw on tools such as Fascial Release and Unwinding to help release stored tension and trauma in the body, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to support emotional regulation and stress relief and HeartMath techniques to restore coherence between the heart, brain and nervous system. These approaches are not things I 'do to you', but skills I teach and guide you through, so you can build confidence, autonomy and trust in your own healing journey.

I use this successful framework to provide my clients with a toolkit to help them feel energised, strong and in control of their health, something they can fall back on forever. â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

 

Health coaches are not competing with doctors and mainstream medicine. We are here to complement them with emotional help and support through diagnosis, on both the illness and healing journey.  While conventional medicine often focuses on disease management and current symptoms, health coaching focuses on addressing underlying causes and historical symptoms (imagine peeling back the layers of an onion and getting to the root cause).

Lifestyle interventions really do have a significant role to play in healthy ageing and disease prevention.  Mental wellbeing, healthy relationships, physical activity, nutritious food, sleep, minimising harmful substances and exposure to toxins all have a powerful impact.

Stress, inflammation and other factors affect your wellbeing, performance, relationships and ability to function, so it is very important to remove the things that are compromising you and your immune system in order for you to function optimally and achieve your health and wellness goals.

There is no one size fits all, which is why it is important to work with you as an individual, creating a metabolically healthy and happy whole YOU!​

It is never too late to prioritise your health. ​​

My aim is to work alongside you; to support and help you develop.  I do not provide the answers; my role is to provide guidance, accountability and hold a space, allowing you to navigate and find the answers for yourself. 

 

Understanding where you are now, focusing on ways to live in the present, but moving forward (whatever your circumstances) is important.  As is reframing limiting mindsets and belief busting.

Change can be something unwanted, or something you choose.  Change can be uncertain and disorientating.  I will support and guide you through uncertain times, helping you find your way.  When receiving recommendations from healthcare providers such as doctors, clients are often overwhelmed, intimidated and confused about how to make sense of them and where to begin.  I help clients understand these recommendations and translate them into sustainable shifts in their lifestyle.  I encourage participation in treatment and the move from being passive to proactive in their health.
